I feel like it's spring. Quick orange bees are flying all around the purple fresh flowers. I am bit scared of those bees because when I was 4, I got stung by one.

Wednesday

<Pink medicine for my throat>

I am very very sick. My head is boiling and my face is scarlet. I feel powerless. This medicine is for my soar throat. When sucked, it is cool and it really has lots of effects. Plus, "It is tasty!!!! Hahaha"

Thursday

<My speech essay>

Preparing for my speech contest. It is about toilets. I am very very sleepy. I am still sick, but only the time left is just enough for mosquito to meet the death by getting slapped. What should I do? No problem, one thing for sure, I'm not going to get anything for speech.

<Water absorbing machine>

I love this thing. Mom sent this yesterday night with new blankets. I'm not sure if this will really suck lots of water but at least it is better that nothing. This pink box with little circular balls is soaking up the water. Isn't this a great invention of humanity?

It's Saturday! and I'm studying anyway. I'm writing this photo essay. I've got two more history classes waiting for me. After that is speech contest. I am going to meet my death today.

<Hard to see, but there is church>

It's Sunday! and I went to church. I started going to Catholic church from the age of 9 because of my friend who went there. I went to church the first week of GLPS but not the second. Finally, today I went to church. I went there by bus. It was really nice to go out and see some parts of this place.

I'm in a writing class drinking cider. I borrowed money from another friend because I forgot to bring my money from the dormitory. Well I've got about 3000 won left in my dormitory. This is going to be the last photo essay. I wrote all 7 of them.

My father is keep saying it will be alright, but I do not believe it. We are all going to be dead. I know it. 1 minute, 2 minutes, 3 minutes... They are not... coming? I don't understand this situation! We are not that rich so we don't have enough money to bribe the Namelesses. Then there is only one answer. My father has killed three innocent people.

Cliff hanger ending for Lack

Nameless came in. He first checked his Deathpad. I saw there were only 50 people left until 1 trillion. Gun will become useless when the population goes down to 1 trillion. Please... Nameless said "Bad Luck," then he started loading his gun. As I looked up, I saw there were 15 people left.

Sad Sad ending for Lack

As the Nameless came in, father jumped with his bat, but Nameless already had loaded his gun. He shot down my father. He is... dead? My mother tried to protect me and said "Please spare only my child's life." It reminded me of a book called Harry Potter. In that story, the mother saves Harry with a sacrifice spell. However this is not a world of fantasy.  "Bang ... Bang."

LACK

  The 30th century! People should be celebrating the millennium, but they could not. 
It started few months before. I was watching TV when it came out at news. There aren't enough natural resources in the Earth and even if we use our science, it's impossible for all people to live.

For few weeks it was the hot topic: amount of left resources, debates, interviews of politicians, and making new laws. Then few weeks later, it went back to normal. I thought 'Maybe the result was not right,' and spent my days with my friends. Yes, my prediction was correct. The result was wrong. The news said we had resources for only about 200 years. However the truth was more horrible. A scientist from the research of the left resources confessed that he edited the research result because of the government was blackmailing. Then he told that there are only about 50 years of natural resources left. When the interview was finished, he walked off and said "Maybe if 3 quarters of populations dies off, there is a hope." This also went out in TV. Then I knew something was going to happen. Lack of resource became a hot topic again. Few days after, president Lim Ming Buck came out and gave a speech.

To summarize, it meant we need to kill off people. People got so horror struck. 'Kill people? Innocent people?' People whispered all together. 1 month later, there was UC(united countries, made in year 2800) debating about the solution. It was such a hard decision. However, they needed to select the solution fast because the nature was almost at the step in which it can't even repair itself. In the morning when the solution was announced by the president, people all around the world gathered around the TV. The president finally announced. "By UC, we declare a new law. To lower the population, there is only one way: killing off. So the new law is to kill off 1 person for 1 month. The people who don't follow this law will be executed and this law is starting from the morning of 30th century!"
  It was the first morning of the 30th century. People are all keeping quiet. People are all wondering what it feels like to murder people and thinking, 'Will I even be able to murder a person?' My parents and I were on the table talking about our future when suddenly there was a knock on the door. "Knock, knock, knock." It was maybe the scariest time I ever had. We peeked outside and noticed he was just our neighbor. We were still alerted. 'Now, we can't even trust our own neighbors,' I thought. He started to talk about the first blood on our street. I shouted, "People are going crazy!" then locked my bedroom door.

  20 days had past and there are only 11 days left to make a choice: to kill or die. Father was keep saying at least we should kill a person to let me live, but mother disagreed. Mother was keep saying "How can we kill a person for us to live?" There is only 11 days left. Lots of people are killed, but still most people don't even dream of killing other people. I think the people who murders other people must be only those who have enemies and psychos. Can they live their life afterwards when they murder a person? Can an educated human do such thing?

  Well, I found the answers. The world was a chaos. Presidents and lots of politicians were murdered and blamed. There are only about 1.5 trillion people left. 5 hundred million people are dead! They are lunatics! Is this the real color of human? By this, I learnt that there are no such things that people can't do if we are about to die... Including today we've got only 3 days. And if you are wondering how to prove that you killed a person I will kindly tell you. You give the hand print to the machine that can read it. It can also know if the heart is still thumping or not. Then you get a code. You send the code to 'www.not-enough-resources.org'. You might be wondering why it is org. In my guess. I think its because government don't want to get others to blame them so much. 'Its just an organization, its not a government' is what they are saying to indoctrinate us. Anyway its now about 1 o'clock and my father is gone for a walk. I'm keep fearing about the danger outside. 'What if my father gets murdered?' Maybe he is a bit late. Father is gone for two hours now. Suddenly the door opened and my father came in. His face was as white as a sheet of paper. He had a little plastic bag with him. As I stood up to ask him what in the world was he doing outside, he walked to his room and slammed the door, then locked. I was so scared. 

The Execution Day

  It's now 1 o'clock in the morning. Today is the day of execution. 'It's the day when my 13 years of life is over'. I prayed to the god. President announced that in Korea, the execution will start from 3:30. It's starting after 30 minutes! Namelesses will go around every city to execute people. In our town there are going to be 5 Namelesses. The execution is until today so it is okay to kill a person now, even Namelesses if I can. Then you will not get executed. Government doesn't care. The only thing they care is if population in Korea will decrease or not.
  At 4:30 about 25 people were executed. People in our apartment will going to be executed maybe after 30 minutes. First, I can't believe that this thing is happening. Second, I can't believe there are so much people who killed the others. They are all murderers! Help! This must be a dream! I pinched my arm, then banged my head against the wall. It is not a dream. I saw the district news and found out lots of Namelesses were dead by people too. Namelesses all have a thing to execute people, like a gun, but it gave no pain and finished its victim at once. These were the weapons granted from the government. Those weapons were introduced few years before by Sasung, the weapon company of Korea. (That company had most marts, bakeries, and even little stores too. ) Anyway some people killed those Namelesses by stealing their weapon and shooting them. Namelesses also have a device called Deathpad. It shows how many people are killed every moment all around the world. Namelesses should not execute more people if they go lower than trillion. These were all on the news. Isn't it so cruel telling how you are going to kill other people?
  There was a scream just coming out from the next door. I hear the footsteps of Nameless.

  Today, there were about 500 million people executed all around the world. Well there are really luck guys who didn't get executed because of the decrease of population. A little rest, but not over. Half of the survivors today must meet the death until next month.

maybe I'm going to write the next story too. Please comment which ending is the best. I think the original one is the best. Also comment if you want or not want the main character to survive or not...please~

I'll tell you the moral of this story: don't use to much resources. Protect our nature.

Review for "The Wizzard of OZ"

  This movie is a fantasy movie. 
  The main characters were Dorothy, Lion, Tin man, scarecrow, ToTo(the dog), and the Wicked Witch of the West. Maybe there was a good witch too. 
  The story is about Dorothy going to OZ, meeting friends, and having a journey to the wizard to get what they want. They finally defeated the Witch too. 
  There are two settings in the movie: first Kansas then to the  land of OZ. Also in the land of OZ, there are two settings: Munchkin Land and The Emerald City. 
  I got personally impressed by the way the movie changes from black-and-white to color. Teacher told us that it's to show the Great Depression. I will give 2.5 stars out of 5 for this movie. Maybe it's because I like thriller and action movies, I didn't like the way this movie being like a musical and so childish. It would have been a fun movie to 1930's people when there was not much technique. I liked the book better than the movie. The only thing I liked about this movie was the costumes and the dog. The costumes were really ridiculous (just a bit of laugh) especially for the Lion. The dog was really well trained and personally I felt the only good looking character was the dog. I'm sure that this movie does have many moral lessons, but it should be upgraded to earn some money. If you just want to learn the moral lessons, it would be better to buy a book for yourself. 

My goals- for thirty days

  I've chosen three goals for thirty days. My first goal is to lose 5kg in thirty days. I'll achieve my goal by exercising everyday after dinner,only eating healthy food, not snacks. It is very important to me because I weigh 68kg. It is a bit too much for my height. If I try it hard everyday, I'll be able to achieve it.
  The second goal is to try a science experiment. It is partly because it's a schoolwork, but I'll get some fun too. I'll watch the experiment and record it everyday. It'll help me in many ways like improving my organizing and note taking skills.
  The third goal is to complete every school/GLPS works nicely. I have to use time wisely to complete all these work. I should use the second study time too. It's important to me because I don't want to get yellow cards. I'll study during the second study time only on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. 

Jino's introduction

  Hello my name is Jino Lee. I'm a 13-years-old student now. I have double 68: 68 kg, 168 cm. I have a very bad sight. My hobby is playing games and reading books. 

  Now I am living in Seoul, but I had 4 other homes. I was born in Illsan and went to America and lived in Dajeon for 3 years. Then went to Seoul, Incheon, and then came back to Seoul. 
  My favorite animal is cow, because I can eat its delicious beef. 

  I have a dog for my pet. Her name is PPoya. She is now 10 years old. Her favorite thing is lying on the floor and eating. I had fish but they all died. 

  My favorite game is League of Legends. I started few weeks ago, but its so fun. 
  I like to play with computers. It doesn't only mean playing games but trying out new applications or finding out new things about my computer.
